Ties of Blood: Chapter 6Chapter 6: Reality, Ugly Reality  Shawn yawned slightly as he walked down the hall both he and Kira had rooms off of, and glanced over his shoulder out of the corner of his eye to make sure no one was following him. He heard the other kids in the training room goofing off, but their chatter often covered up footsteps, so he had to be sure. He didn't want anyone overhearing what he said to Kira in private.  
The door slid open, and Shawn was again surprised by how Kira had managed to choose the only one in the whole of the dojo that did so silently. There was his sister, laying on her futon and staring at the ceiling with her fingers Ties of Blood: Chapter 6

So, it's my birthday today. I'm in a rather good mood thanks to what happened yesterday. I managed to get a job! I'm just gonna be a bagger, but a job is a job.

And yes, this means I'll have less time to write my stories. >> Poems, on the other hand, seem to pop into my head at will. Doesn't matter where I am.
